TWWIM AI is WordPress 7.0 Ready - Tested and Live
TWWIM AI is WordPress 7.0 ready. I tested the plugin against the final release. It runs without changes. Here is what shop owners should know now.
TWWIM AI runs on WordPress 7.0. Three days after the official release on May 20, I can confirm: the plugin works on the final version without any changes.
I tested the plugin against the release candidates over the past weeks and again yesterday against the final release. Voice control, text commands, the knowledge layer, and product sync work as before. No code changes required, no forced update on your end as a shop owner.
Why this is not a given for a major release
Every major WordPress update carries a risk: plugins that hook deep into the editor or into WooCommerce logic can break unexpectedly. Industry coverage around 7.0 explicitly recommends shop owners wait two weeks before upgrading, because many plugin vendors only ship their compatibility patches in that window.
TWWIM AI does not interfere with the editor or with checkout code. The plugin loads the widget via a script tag onto the shop's pages and communicates with our infrastructure. This clean separation is the reason WordPress major updates rarely force us to change code.
What you should do now
If you have not installed WordPress 7.0 yet, give it a few days. A backup before the update is mandatory.
If you do not have TWWIM AI on your shop yet and want to try voice and text control: the plugin is available in the WordPress Plugin Directory and free in the Free tier.
