Frequently Asked Questions

What is TWWIM?

TWWIM is an AI-powered voice navigation overlay that adds hands-free browsing to any website. Users interact with your website using natural language voice commands — navigating pages, filling forms, clicking buttons, and scrolling, all without a keyboard or mouse.

How do I add TWWIM to my website?

Add a single JavaScript script tag before the closing body tag of your website. No build step or framework integration required. The widget loads asynchronously and works with any web platform (HTML, WordPress, Shopify, React, Vue, Angular, etc.). See the Integration Guide for details.

What languages does TWWIM support?

TWWIM currently supports German (de-DE) and English (en-US, en-GB) for voice recognition and commands. The language is auto-detected from your website's language setting or can be configured manually.

Which browsers are supported?

All modern browsers with Web Speech API support: Chrome 33+, Edge 79+, Safari 14.1+, and Firefox 85+ (with SpeechRecognition enabled). Mobile browsers on iOS Safari and Android Chrome are fully supported.

Does TWWIM slow down my website?

No. The script loads asynchronously and does not block page rendering. The voice recognition engine activates only when the user initiates a voice session. There is no performance impact during normal browsing.

Is TWWIM GDPR compliant?

Yes. Voice audio is processed in real-time and not stored permanently. TWWIM does not collect personal data beyond what is necessary for voice command processing. All data processing occurs within EU infrastructure. TWWIM UG is a German company subject to GDPR.

Does TWWIM help with BFSG compliance?

TWWIM addresses operability requirements of BFSG (via WCAG 2.1 AA / EN 301 549) by providing voice-based interaction as an alternative input method. It supplements keyboard navigation and screen reader support. TWWIM alone does not guarantee full BFSG compliance — it is one layer of a comprehensive accessibility strategy. See the BFSG Compliance Guide for details.

Can I try TWWIM for free?

Yes. TWWIM offers a free plan with limited voice interactions per month. No credit card required. You can upgrade to a paid plan at any time for higher usage limits and additional features.

Does TWWIM work with single-page applications (SPAs)?

Yes. TWWIM detects client-side route changes and updates its internal page model automatically. It works with React Router, Vue Router, Angular Router, and other SPA routing libraries.

Can I customize the widget appearance?

Yes. The widget supports custom positioning (four corner positions), light/dark/auto theme modes, and custom activation methods (click or hotkey). Additional styling options are available through the dashboard.

How accurate is the voice recognition?

TWWIM uses AI-powered speech-to-text with natural language understanding. Accuracy depends on microphone quality, background noise, and speaking clarity. In typical office or home environments, recognition accuracy exceeds 95% for supported languages.

Where is TWWIM hosted?

TWWIM infrastructure runs on European servers. The company (TWWIM UG) is based in Berlin, Germany. All voice processing occurs within EU data centers.
